May 15 / Third Summer Intensive and Annual Symposium on Poetry Criticism Ready To Go
This summer marks the third intensive for Western’s low-residency MFA, and the schedules are now fully written, the speakers and faculty invited, many students admitted, and plans are in full swing. I’ve attached the formal press release for the Third Annual Symposium on Poetry Criticism, which takes place at the end of the intensive, during the final weekend of July. this year’s symposium promises to be one of the best yet, with eight poet/critics from around the country, and even from England, in the person of Simon Jarvis, the Gorley Putt Professor of Poetry and Poetics at Cambridge.
See you in Gunnison this summer, for what promises to be an excellent program.
